Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The digital era is fundamentally reshaping the logic of value creation and delivery. This Special Issue, Supply Chain and Business Model Innovation in the Digital Era, seeks to explore the profound, symbiotic relationship between these two domains. We aim to curate cutting-edge research examining how technologies like AI, IoT, blockchain, and data analytics are not merely optimizing supply chain operations but are acting as catalysts for entirely new business models.
We invite contributions that investigate this dual transformation. Topics include digital servitization and platforms, circular and resilient supply chain models, data-driven value propositions, and the strategic alignment of digital supply chain capabilities with innovative revenue architectures. The issue will provide a comprehensive forum for understanding how integration across digital platforms, smart logistics, and customer-centric models creates sustainable competitive advantage.
By bridging theoretical advances with empirical insights, this collection will offer vital guidance for academics and practitioners navigating the convergence of operations, technology, and strategic innovation in today's dynamic global economy.
