World Space Week—“Rocket Revolution”, 4–10 October 2026

World Space Week 2026 highlights the rapid progress in rocket technology and its pivotal role in enabling sustainable access to space. This year’s theme, “Rocket Revolution”, invites us to reflect on the challenges and opportunities brought by reusable launchers, lower launch costs, and growing mission frequency.

Selected MDPI journals, including Aerospace, Applied Sciences, Computation, Energies, Sensors, Signals, and Symmetry, provide key platforms for advancing global dialogue on space research. Through a curation of articles, Special Issues and reprints, these journals explore topics such as launch vehicle design and propulsion, and spacecraft sensing and control, fostering collaboration among scientists, engineers, and institutions worldwide.

World Space Week underscores the importance of rocket innovation and our shared responsibility to develop and apply launch technologies responsibly for a bright and sustainable future.
