Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the winner of the Sensors 2021 Travel Award in Sensor Networks.

The Evaluation Committee was very impressed with the high quality of work presented for consideration. After careful evaluation, we can now announce that the award has been granted to Ms. Yalin Liu, a Ph.D. student from Macau University of Science and Technology. Her research interests include Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Communications, Internet of Things, Space-Air-Terrestrial Networks, Optimal Resource Allocation, and Stochastic Geometry based Performance Analysis.

Ms. Yalin Liu will receive 500 Swiss Francs, which she can put forth to attend academic conferences in 2021.

We would like to thank all the applicants for submitting their diverse and fascinating range of research topics. On behalf of the Assessment Committee, we congratulate the winner on her outstanding accomplishments.

Eligibility and Requirements

– Postdoctoral fellows or PhD students, research fellows;
– Plans to attend an international conference in 2022 (oral presentation or poster).

List of Documents for Application

– Information of the conference the applicant is planning to attend and the abstract that will be submitted;
– Curriculum Vitae and list of publications;
– Justification letter describing the focus of the research (max. 800 words);
– Letter of recommendation from the supervisor, research director, or department head, which also confirms the applicant’s status.
