Advances in Nanomaterials-Enabled Immunotherapy

Dear Colleagues,

The development of medical drug delivery and bio-imaging systems based on advanced nanomaterials, including nanoparticles as well as nanoporous and nanocomposite materials, has been one of the most crucial challenges to developing personalized medicine via future nanotechnology. Novel immunotherapy research will concentrate on exploring immunotherapeutic function in basic immunology and cancer treatment, as well as medication development enabled by advanced nanomaterials and biomedical research. The potential themes of this Special Issue will cover the significance of advanced nanomaterials, ranging from basic studies to clinical trials in immunotherapy, as well as new scientific developments in the field. This Special Issue is expected to present a unique and up-to-date perspective on immunotherapy and immunotherapeutic function centered around current methods of discovery, emerging nanotechnologies, pre-clinical and clinical trials, and obstacles in the field of nanomaterials.

Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Nanomaterials is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
