Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The human microbiome plays a critical role in health, disease, and overall well-being. This Special Issue explores the latest advances in microbiome research and highlights its implications in diverse fields such as medicine, nutrition, and biotechnology. It covers studies on microbiome composition, host–microbe interactions, disease associations, and therapeutic interventions, providing insights into how microbial communities influence human physiology. In addition, the collection discusses emerging methodologies such as metagenomics and microbiome-based therapeutics that are paving the way for personalized medicine and novel treatment strategies. By bringing together cutting-edge research, this Special Issue aims to deepen our understanding of the role of the microbiome in human health and its potential applications for clinical and scientific advancement.
