Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Cardiovascular disorders represent the leading cause of mortality worldwide. Infective endocarditis is a fairly uncommon disease with a high rate of mortality. Taking into consideration the complexity of this disease, current management strategies include a multidisciplinary approach and measures to ensure early diagnosis, lower rates of complications, and improved mortality rates. With advancements in the field of medicine and patient care, the number and severity of cases have been on the rise. There has been an increase in the incidence of infective endocarditis, with reports that the incidence in some countries has doubled over the last decade. We welcome the submission of research articles that can help physicians better understand and treat infective endocarditis.
