Advances in Plastic and Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery of Face, Breast and Body
This special issue belongs to the section “Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery/Aesthetic Medicine“.
Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
As the guest editor for this Special Issue of our esteemed journal, we invite contributions that explore the multifaceted landscape of plastic and reconstructive surgery. This issue aims to highlight advancements in reconstructive techniques, with a particular focus on reconstructive and breast surgery, which remain a pivotal area of innovation and clinical practice. We encourage submissions that present novel academic research, including clinical trials, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses that contribute to the evidence base in plastic surgery.
Additionally, we seek to examine the intersection of social media and plastic surgery, an increasingly relevant topic in contemporary practice. Articles that investigate the impact of social media on patient perceptions, decision-making, and the dissemination of information within the field are particularly welcome. We believe that this Special Issue will not only showcase cutting-edge research and innovations but also foster a dialogue on the evolving role of digital platforms in shaping the future of plastic and reconstructive surgery. We look forward to your valuable contributions that will enrich this important discourse.
