International Database Engineered Applications Symposium, 2nd Edition

This special issue belongs to the section “Information Processes“.

Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

We invite selected authors to submit extended versions of their 29th International Database Engineered Applications Symposium (IDEAS) (https://conferences.ncl.ac.uk/ideas2025/) papers to Information (ISSN 2078-2489-, ESCI- and Scopus-indexed with a 4.2 citescore). The extended version must provide a minimum of 50% new content and not exceed 30% repetition from the proceedings paper. In addition, some authors who also work in fields related to the IDEAS 2025 conference may be considered upon writing to the Guest Editor to explain their interest in participating in this Special Issue.

This Special Issue will broadly define all aspects of database engineering, particularly papers describing integrating new technologies into products and applications, experiences with existing and novel techniques, and the resolution of unsolved challenges. In addiiton, there were two special tracks at the conference, namely data science and GIS systems and applications. We also welcome papers on these topics.

Thank you,

Dr. Giacomo Bergami
Prof. Dr. Peter Z. Revesz
Guest Editors
