About International Journal of Turbomachinery, Propulsion and Power

Aims

International Journal of Turbomachinery, Propulsion and Power (ISSN 2504-186X) focuses on the current and future science and technology development of turbomachinery in the related fields of turbomachinery based propulsion and power systems. Of primary interest are the thermodynamics, the fluid mechanics, the heat transfer and the applied combustion of aerospace, marine and industrial energy devices and systems, both from a component and system perspective. Likewise, fundamental and applied studies of energy conversion systems based on single or multi-phase fluid flows, single or multi-species, involving one or more turbomachines are solicited. The IJTPP is intended to offer a high quality research and development dissemination tool to colleagues with a primary interest in turbomachinery from academia, research institutes and industry.

Scope

The IJTPP has been conceived as an interdisciplinary dissemination tool, although the core of the journal remains the design, the analysis, the modeling and the testing of turbomachinery and turbomachinery based propulsion and power system. Contributions in the important fields of hydro, marine and wind energy producing devices, as well as unconventional fluid/flow applications in turbomachinery, are also welcome. The IJTPP invites submissions on a wide range of disciplines, including to:

  • Turbomachinery
  • Aerospace propulsion
  • Marine propulsion
  • Turbochargers
  • Power generation
  • Thermodynamics
  • Fluid mechanics
  • Heat Transfer
  • Vibrations
  • Aero-acoustic
  • Applied combustion (aeronautic, aerospace, stationary power systems)
  • Wind energy
  • Marine energy

MDPI Publication Ethics Statement

IJTPP is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). MDPI takes the responsibility to enforce a rigorous peer-review together with strict ethical policies and standards to ensure to add high quality scientific works to the field of scholarly publication. Unfortunately, cases of plagiarism, data falsification, inappropriate authorship credit, and the like, do arise. MDPI takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously and our editors are trained to proceed in such cases with a zero tolerance policy. To verify the originality of content submitted to our journals, we use iThenticate to check submissions against previous publications. MDPI works with Publons to provide reviewers with credit for their work.
