2016	The inaugural issue was released. IJTPP was published as a quarterly journal.
2017	IJTPP announced the first edition of the Travel Award. IJTPP collaborated with the 12th European Conference on Turbomachinery Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics (ETC12). IJTPP collaborated with the 17th International Symposium on Transport Phenomena and Dynamics of Rotating Machinery (ISROMAC 2017).
2018	IJTPP sponsored ASME's International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition (IMECE). IJTPP sponsored the Best Student Presentation Award at the XXIV Biennial Symposium on Measuring Techniques in Turbomachinery.
2019	IJTPP was indexed in Scopus (Elsevier), starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1). IJTPP announced the first edition of the Best Paper Award. IJTPP collaborated with the 13th European Conference on Turbomachinery Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics (ETC13).
2020	IJTPP received its first CiteScore (2019) of 1.5. IJTPP collaborated with the 9th EVI-GTI International Gas Turbine Instrumentation Conference. IJTPP sponsored the Best Student Presentation Award at the XXV Biennial Symposium on Measuring Techniques in Turbomachinery.
2021	IJTPP was indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)—Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1). IJTPP collaborated with the 14th European Conference on Turbomachinery Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics (ETC14).
2023	IJTPP received its first Impact Factor (1.4). IJTPP collaborated with the 15th European Conference on Turbomachinery Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics (ETC15).
2024	IJTPP was indexed in Ei Compendex (Elsevier), starting with Volume 9 (Issue 1).
2025	IJTPP collaborated with the 16th European Conference on Turbomachinery Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics (ETC16).
