Meet Us at the 7th National Symposium for Young Virologists, 20–22 October 2026, Wuhan, China

Against the backdrop of climate and ecological change, shifts in human activity patterns, and accelerating globalization, a succession of emerging viral infectious diseases—including SARS, novel influenza, dengue fever, chikungunya fever, and Ebola—has emerged. These not only pose a severe threat to human life, health, and public health security but also exert a profound impact on global economic development and social stability. Consequently, fundamental research in virology and the prevention and control of viral diseases have become key priorities in the global life sciences and public health domains.

The 7th National Symposium for Young Virologists will facilitate intensive exchange on the latest research findings in virology and viral disease prevention and control, in order to explore frontier issues and development trends in the discipline, through various formats including keynote lectures, thematic presentations, and poster sessions.
