New Advances of Engineering of Smart Horticulture
Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
With advancements in computer technology, robots and sensors have been extensively adopted across various aspects of the agricultural sector. Horticultural plants represent a large and diverse plant family, including vegetables, fruit trees, flowering plants, medicinal plants, ornamental plants, and mushrooms. The application of advanced technologies to these species promises not only to enhance breeding, cultivation, and management but also to accelerate progress in related research and industrialization. However, research and engineering applications specifically dedicated to this field remain limited. Therefore, it is imperative to advance the field of smart horticulture, as it plays a critical role in elucidating the growth mechanisms of horticultural crops and refining cultivation techniques. For this Special Issue entitled “New Advances of Engineering of Smart Horticulture”, we welcome research articles and reviews focused on the application of smart horticulture to various horticultural plants
