Dear Colleagues,
Nowadays, climate change, incredible growth of population and animal production, energy consumption, and various other transformations input the human research from diverse frontiers in search for sustainability and economic and social life more adequately. In this sense, nanotechnology appears to be an incredible solution for diverse areas. Nanotechnology is highlighted for use in pharmaceutical products as well as in other production fields, such as systems used to transport molecules of therapeutic interest. At this juncture, different types of nanoparticles have been produced, including polymeric nanoparticles, which have attracted more attention due to their therapeutic potential and better stability in biological fluids and in the storage of drugs. In addition, there are also magnetic nanoparticles, which have a wide range of actions, such as hyperthermia and disease diagnosis, among others. Furthermore, due to its range of applications, nanotechnology presents a multidisciplinary approach, as it involves aspects of physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, and engineering. Thus, considering the high importance of producing innovative materials for sustainable development in the world and the proposal to promote improvement in the quality human life, this Special Issue proposes interdisciplinary research in the use of nanoparticles in tissue engineering.
We are pleased to invite you to contribute your ideas, insights, and perspectives from the dynamic landscape of nanoparticles for tissue engineering, covering a wide range of topics related to the following areas, among others: hyperthermia, disease diagnosis and interactions with the biological environment, biocompatibility and safety assessments, clinical applications, treatment, therapeutics, cosmetics, drug delivery, transport molecules of therapeutic interest, and translational research.
This Special Issue aims to detail all research in the area of nanoparticles in tissue engineering associated with the pharmaceutical area, such as drug delivery, therapeutics, cosmetics, transport molecules of therapeutic interest, diagnosis, interactions with the biological environment, biocompatibility and safety assessments, clinical applications, and uses of drug-free formulations in the treatment of diverse diseases. Thus, this Special Issue can contribute to diverse areas of pharmaceuticals in the global issue of tissue engineering. In this Special Issue, original research articles and reviews are welcome.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process.
