Research on the Optimal Selection of Electromechanical Drives

Dear Colleagues,

Electromechanical drive systems are widely used in every area of life. Their development is extremely important in terms of failure-free operation, but the main focus is on the lowest possible energy consumption, which is an important ecological aspect. As machine designers, we can contribute to an additional reduction in energy consumption through proper shaping of geometrical, material, and dynamic features of machine parts and their assemblies. This will lead to the selection of an electric motor characterized by lower nominal power. I invite everyone to share their research results, which will improve the process of designing machines and devices used for various applications in multiple areas to reduce energy consumption and make them more efficient.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Energies is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
