Electromobility and New Mobility Solutions in Sustainable Urban Transport Systems

This special issue belongs to the section “E: Electric Vehicles“.

Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

New mobility services (including all shared mobility systems), electromobility or mobility as a service are just some of the current trends that can be observed in urban transport systems in recent years. Proper functioning of this type of solutions is aimed at limiting the negative impact of transport on the environment and improving its functioning. However, in order for transport to function properly and meet the expectations of society, improving our lives, it is important to properly, thoughtfully, and consciously manage it. Therefore, this Special Edition focuses on the broad topic of “Electromobility and New Mobility Solutions in Sustainable Urban Transport Systems”. Due to the very wide range of topics related to new mobility services, this Special Issue will be interdisciplinary. Any research that includes analysis of the existing practices of the functioning of electromobility and new mobility solutions, developed mathematical, business, and descriptive models, calculations, forecasts, plans and development analyses, comparative analyses, as well as advanced literature reviews, case studies, guidelines, and theoretical and practical studies are warmly welcome. The following aspects will be discussed in the Special Issue: economy, energy, the environment, decision making, law, management, optimization, policies, technical conditions, and social aspects.
