Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data technologies, intelligent information processing has become a crucial force driving technological innovation. These technologies have shown outstanding performance in fields such as image recognition, language processing, data analysis, and autonomous driving, significantly advancing the development of these areas. Faced with the explosion of complex, diverse, and voluminous data, the deep integration of data management and intelligent computing has become an urgent need in the era of big data. On the one hand, applying new-generation artificial intelligence methods to intelligent information processing, attempting to explore and achieve breakthroughs in the theoretical systems, technological methods, and system platforms used for intelligent information processing, has become a new research direction; on the other hand, developing data management software aimed at artificial intelligence, to provide system support for the effective storage, querying, analysis, and mining of massive data for the research and widespread application of new-generation artificial intelligence technologies, is also a decisive factor in technological innovation. The field of intelligent information processing has increasingly attracted the attention of both academic and industrial communities, and its theories, technologies, and methods urgently need in-depth exploration and reflection. This Special Issue aims to gather and showcase the latest research achievements and practical applications of intelligent information processing technologies in various industries to promote exchange and cooperation between academia and industry.

This Special Issue invites researchers and practitioners worldwide to submit original research and review articles on intelligent information processing technologies. Relevant topics include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • New algorithms and applications of machine learning and deep learning technologies
  • Computer vision and pattern recognition
  • Natural language processing and text analysis
  • Data mining and big data analysis
  • Speech recognition and processing
  • Applications of intelligent information processing in healthcare
  • Applications of intelligent information processing in financial technology
  • Innovative applications of artificial intelligence in education, agriculture, transportation, and other fields
  • The Internet of Things and intelligent information processing
  • Ethics, security, and privacy issues in artificial intelligence

We look forward to receiving your contributions.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Electronics is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.

Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2400 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
