Advances in Multimedia Security: Challenges and Solutions

Dear Colleagues,

As digital content proliferates and multimedia technologies advance, security issues have become increasingly prominent, particularly concerning copyright protection, personal privacy, and data integrity. This Special Issue will explore the latest advancements in multimedia security. We will gather expertise from scholars and experts worldwide to share innovative research and practical experiences in fields such as encryption, digital watermarking, data authentication, privacy protection, and other related technologies.

This Special Issue will compile a comprehensive collection of original research articles and reviews that not only meet the rigorous standards of our journal but also broaden the scope of discussion by including innovative solutions that enhance system security and resist current and future cybersecurity threats. Additionally, this Special Issue will address the practical challenges of applying multimedia security technologies in various application scenarios, such as smart cities, social networks, and the Internet of Things.

We invite contributions that cover but are not limited to, the following areas: digital rights management (DRM), watermarking, encryption, steganography, biometrics, forensic analysis, privacy protection, and multimedia integrity. Please ensure that your submissions align with the aims and scope of our journal, which you can review in the journal menu under "Aims & Scope".

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Electronics is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
