Sustainable Development of Digital Education: Opportunities and Challenges

Dear Colleagues,
In the modern information society, the center of education is digital education, and digital education is gradually replacing traditional education. Digital education can overcome the limitations of time and space and provides various learning opportunities to students by using various digital technologies. The core of digital education is sustainability, and for digital education to continue to develop, sustainability and predictability must be maintained. While maintaining sustainability, the subject of this paper, this Special Issue especially focuses on the field of digital education. This Special Issue deals with various issues related to sustainable digital education. It deals with the limitations of digital education and future challenges, as well as various advantages, educational effects, and new policies of digital education.In this Special Issue, original research articles and reviews are welcome. Research areas may include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Sustainability in digital education technologies;
- Sustainable digital education applications;
- Sustainable gifted education in computer;
- Sustainable informatization for the disabled;
- Sustainable artificial intelligence;
- Sustainable information and communication ethics;
- Digital education policies;
- Digital divide issues;
- Sustainability in digital education curriculum;
- Sustainability in digital education evaluation.

Manuscript Submission Information

For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a double-blind peer-review process. Education Sciences is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
