Research and Clinical Applications of Gynecologic Cancer Detection Technologies

Dear Colleagues,

Gynaecological cancers remain a significant global health challenge. The increased understanding of the genetic and molecular aspects of these tumours is helping us develop effective screening programmes, but still, around 1.5 million women diagnosed with gynaecological cancer during 2022. These statistics highlight the need for improved prevention and early detection to obtain the best outcomes for our patients.

This Special Issue of Cancers therefore will be focused on new diagnostic approaches for early detection of Gynaecological Cancers. It will also explore how new technologies will enhance our ability to diagnose these cancers earlier and to increase the sensitivity and specificity of the existing screening methods.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Cancers is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
