Young Investigator Award

The Agriculture Young Investigator Award was established in 2021 to acknowledge the achievements of young investigators in the field of agriculture. Nominations are accepted from December to the following April, with winners notified by the end of May the following year.

The Prize:
– CHF 2000;
– An electronic certificate;
– A voucher to waive the article processing charges (APCs) for one submission in the journal (subject to peer review), valid for one year.

Eligibility and Requirements

– Must have received their PhD no more than 10 years prior to 31 December 2025;
– Must have produced ground-breaking research and made a significant contribution to the advancement of the field of agriculture;
– Must be nominated by senior scientists.

List of Documents for Nomination

– The candidate’s detailed curriculum vitae, including an updated list of their publications and a list of the researcher’s own research grants;
– A scanned copy of their doctorate certificate;
– Signed nomination letters from two established senior scientists.
