Cover Story: This research delves into what drives behavior among geotourists in three geoparks in the Greater China area. Using equation modeling to study data from than 800 survey responses, the study reveals a positive link between having environmentally conscious beliefs and acting responsibly toward geological sites. Interestingly, while attachment to a place and visitor satisfaction do not impact behavior, they influence one’s environmental attitudes. These results show how geotourists’ connections and contentment promote actions, providing valuable insights for improving geopark management and conservation endeavors. View this paper
