Cover Story: This study investigates the influence of hemp granule size and concentration on the rheological, thermal, and mechanical behavior of PLA-based biocomposites. Results show that smaller granules improve dispersion and interfacial adhesion, leading to enhanced stiffness and viscoelastic properties. Hemp also acts as a nucleating agent, slightly increasing crystallinity while affecting thermal stability. The combined effect of filler size and content is highlighted as a key parameter for controlling processability. These findings provide valuable insights for designing sustainable biocomposites with improved performance for thermoforming applications. View this paper
