Nanogenerators and Piezotronics
Topic Information
Dear Colleagues,
This Topic will present selected extended conference proceedings from “The 7th International Conference of Nanogenerator and Piezotronics (NGPT 2024)”, which will be held in Madison, Wisconsin, USA, from 19 to 23 May 2024 (https://conferences.union.wisc.edu/ngptmeetings/). This prestigious event promises to be an exhilarating journey through the latest advancements, trends, and breakthroughs in the ever-evolving realm of nanogenerators and piezotronics. This Topic seeks to publish original reviews, original articles, or communications. We encourage submissions of manuscripts focusing on nanogenerators and piezotronics and other Topics:
1. Piezoelectric and triboelectric nanogenerators: device design, theoretical analysis, manufacturing, and applications;
2. Triboelectric, piezoelectric, and ferroelectric nanomaterials and nanostructures: synthesis, characterization, and integration;
3. Theoretical and experimental study of piezotronic, piezophototronic, and tribotronic effects for electron, photon, and ion interaction;
4. Nanogenerator and piezotronics technology innovations for environmental sustainability and human wellbeing.

Preprints.org is a multidisciplinary platform offering a preprint service designed to facilitate the early sharing of your research. It supports and empowers your research journey from the very beginning.
MDPI Topics is collaborating with Preprints.org and has established a direct connection between MDPI journals and the platform. Authors are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity by posting their preprints at Preprints.org prior to publication:
- Share your research immediately: disseminate your ideas prior to publication and establish priority for your work.
- Safeguard your intellectual contribution: Protect your ideas with a time-stamped preprint that serves as proof of your research timeline.
- Boost visibility and impact: Increase the reach and influence of your research by making it accessible to a global audience.
- Gain early feedback: Receive valuable input and insights from peers before submitting to a journal.
- Ensure broad indexing: Web of Science (Preprint Citation Index), Google Scholar, Crossref, SHARE, PrePubMed, Scilit and Europe PMC.
