MDPI will be attending the 10th National Conference on Applied Geochemistry, which will be held from 1 to 3 November 2024 in Kunming, China.
The theme of this conference is “Improving the Level of Applied Geochemical Research to Promote a New Round of Prospecting Breakthroughs, Strategic Action, and Healthy Geological Engineering”. The conference will carry out academic exchanges on the following topics: the geochemical exploration of strategic mineral resources; the geochemical investigation and evaluation of health in geology, environment, ecology, and agriculture; geochemical responses to geological disasters; and innovative research in geochemical methods. We seek to apply the principles and methods of geochemistry to all fields of earth science, build an academic platform for sharing knowledge, inspiring innovation and active exchanges, and promote the applied research and academic exchanges of geochemistry in earth science and related fields.
The conference topics include the following:
- The exploration and geochemical principles, methods, technologies, and innovative applications of strategic mineral resources;
- Geochemical tracing and prospecting predictions of key minerals;
- The investigation, evaluation, and application of environmental and ecological geochemistry;
- Health geology and agricultural geochemistry investigation, monitoring technologies, and applications;
- Research and innovative applications of sedimentary geochemistry and energy geochemistry in oil–gas basins;
- Innovative applications of geochemical big data in resource management, environment, and other fields.
