Vaccine Design, Development, and Delivery

A section of Vaccines (ISSN 2076-393X).

Section Information

Aims

This Section aims to highlight the latest advances in the design and development of both traditional and next-generation vaccines, which hold promise for providing solutions to challenging targets for which conventional approaches have proven ineffective. We strive to discuss emerging approaches to vaccine design and engineering based on recent insights into immunology, immune engineering, and novel immunological mechanisms, as well as translational applications and the development of next-generation therapeutic vaccines.

Scope

The Section welcomes high-quality papers that explore the design, development, and delivery of attenuated, inactivated, live, subunit, and vectored vaccines, the use of adjuvants in any formulation, and mechanisms involved in the immune responses. Advancements in the field are poised to enhance the efficacy and safety of vaccines, as well as to develop non-invasive delivery mechanisms. We encourage you to submit an original research paper or review article for peer review.
