Section Information
This Section focuses on medical robots and service robots, as they may have similar problems and share similar theoretical and technological approaches. Indeed, even some service robots are intended for medical applications. In particular, the papers published in this Section deal with aspects of mechanical architecture, mechanisms for control interfaces, human-robot interaction, assistance devices, collaborative robots, rehabilitation robots, healthcare robots, and human assistance robots to address the problems and solutions for the service application of robotic systems.
Therefore, the objective of this Section is to provide researchers with a space to share, promote, and discuss their research.
