Influential Female Researcher in Land System Science Award
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce that Land is now inviting nominations for the Land 2024 Influential Female Researcher in Land System Science Award. This prize will be given to one female investigator in recognition of their excellence in the field of land. All nominations will be assessed by an Award Evaluation Committee led by the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Christine Fürst.
The Prizes:
– CHF 2000;
– The option to publish one paper (article/review) free of charge in Land after peer review before 31 May 2026;
– An electronic certificate.
Eligibility and Requirements:
– Open to all career levels;
– Nominees must have a PhD degree;
– Nominees must have produced ground-breaking research and made a significant contribution to the field of land.
List of Documents for Nomination:
– Nominee’s name and contact details (including title, institutional affiliation, and email address);
– Scanned copy of doctorate certificate;
– Detailed curriculum vitae, including an updated publication list and a list of the researcher’s own research grants;
– A recommendation letter from a senior scientist is optional.
Schedule:
– Open for nomination: 1 January 2024;
– Nomination deadline: 31 December 2024;
– Winner announcement: 31 May 2025.
