Current Advances in Non-Trauma Emergency Critical and Resuscitation Medicine

This special issue belongs to the section “Emergency Medicine“.

Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to invite you to submit your original research to the  Special Issue “Current Advances in Non-Trauma Emergency Critical and Resuscitation Medicine.” This issue aims to highlight innovative developments and state-of-the-art research about modern emergency and critical care practice in the emergency department (ED). EDs deliver critical care for many non-trauma patients during the first hours of the in-hospital treatment. This issue aims to highlight innovative developments shaping modern emergency and critical care practice, with particular attention to the interface between ED and intensive care medicine, post-resuscitation care, and neuro-critical emergency care, as well as airway management in the ED and ED management and ED triage topics. Topics also may include diagnostic strategies, acute interventions, resuscitation science, and the integration of new technologies and clinical pathways.

We welcome high-quality contributions that address emerging challenges and propose novel solutions that support improved outcomes or processes for critically ill patients. Submissions focusing on interdisciplinary approaches and global perspectives on emergency critical care are also encouraged.

I look forward to receiving your valuable work and to showcasing the latest advancements in this rapidly evolving field of ED care.

Prof. Dr. Sebastian Bergrath
Guest Editor
