Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Advances in ophthalmic surgery are rapidly reshaping the clinical landscape, providing safer, more precise, and highly personalized treatment options. This Special Issue, “Clinical Advances in Ocular Surgeries: Innovations in Cataract, Retinal, and Beyond”, aims to bring together recent developments and cutting-edge research across the full spectrum of ocular surgeries.
Particular emphasis will be placed on the following:
- Cataract surgeries including premium intraocular lens (IOL) technologies, surgical planning based on ocular biometry, femtosecond laser-assisted techniques, and postoperative visual quality assessment.
- Retinal surgeries focusing on minimally invasive vitrectomy, macular hole and retinal detachment repair, intraoperative optical coherence tomography (iOCT), and innovations in surgical devices and visualization systems.
- Other ophthalmic surgeries such as glaucoma filtration techniques, corneal transplantation, keratoplasty, ocular trauma repair, and oculoplastic procedures.
We welcome original research articles, clinical studies, comprehensive reviews, and technological innovations that explore new methods, improve patient outcomes, and provide deeper insights into surgical techniques. This Special Issue offers an opportunity to highlight interdisciplinary advances and stimulate collaborative approaches to ophthalmic care.
We warmly invite researchers, clinicians, and industry partners to contribute and share their expertise.
