Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Heart failure (HF) remains a major global health burden, affecting over 64 million people worldwide. Despite advances in pharmacological and device-based therapies, many patients continue to face poor outcomes, particularly those with advanced disease, multiple comorbidities, or forms of HF that do not respond well to standard treatments.
In recent years, technological progress and novel therapeutic approaches have opened new pathways for improving the diagnosis, management, and follow-up of patients with HF. These include innovative imaging techniques, remote monitoring tools, artificial intelligence applications, and unconventional or underutilized therapies tailored to specific clinical profiles.
The aim of this Special Issue, “Cutting-edge Technologies and Unconventional Therapies in Heart Failure”, is to highlight current trends and future directions in the field. We invite original research articles and comprehensive reviews that explore emerging diagnostic technologies, novel therapeutic strategies, and advanced clinical approaches for patients with heart failure, especially in complex or advanced stages.
We look forward to receiving insightful contributions that expand the boundaries of current clinical practice in heart failure.
