Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Clinical Management of Vitreous and Retinal Disorders has advanced rapidly, driven by improved imaging, better understanding of the vitreoretinal interface, and expanding medical and surgical options. This topic collection welcomes original research, reviews, and clinical articles that will help refine care and improve visual outcomes for patients with sight-threatening conditions. In this Special Issue, Authors are warmly invited to submit high-quality manuscripts that address any aspect of the Clinical Management of Vitreous and Retinal Disorders, including the following:
- Original clinical or translational research on diagnostics, biomarkers, or therapeutic interventions;
- Surgical techniques, outcomes studies, and complication management in vitreoretinal surgery;
- Real-world treatment paradigms for diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, vein occlusions, retinal detachment, and vitreous hemorrhage;
- Reviews and articles that offer practical guidance for clinicians in diverse practice settings.
Submissions that integrate imaging, systemic disease management, and patient-centered outcomes are particularly encouraged, to advance best practices and improve vision-saving care worldwide.

Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Journal of Clinical Medicine is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
