Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

In response to growing global interest and ongoing studies in sepsis, we are pleased to announce the launch of this Special Issue, “Sepsis: Clinical Advances and Practical Updates”.

Sepsis remains a critical challenge in healthcare, with high rates of morbidity and mortality despite advances in medical care.

This Special Issue will bring together a broad range of original studies and reviews that address key developments in the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management of sepsis. Topics of interest include early detection strategies and novel biomarkers, innovative therapeutic approaches such as immunomodulation and precision medicine, and updates to evidence-based clinical guidelines.

Additionally, we encourage submissions focusing on practical aspects of sepsis care, including antimicrobial stewardship, hemodynamic monitoring, organ support techniques, and quality improvement initiatives across various healthcare settings, from emergency departments to intensive care units (ICUs).

We welcome contributions from multidisciplinary teams including clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals dedicated to improving patient outcomes through enhancing our knowledge and treatment of sepsis.

This Special Issue will provide an important platform to share cutting-edge research, best practices, and future perspectives in the dynamic field of sepsis care.
