Editor’s Choice articles are based on recommendations by the scientific editors of MDPI journals from around the world. Editors select a small number of articles recently published in the journal that they believe will be particularly interesting to readers, or important in the respective research area. The aim is to provide a snapshot of some of the most exciting work published in the various research areas of the journal.

We are excited to announce that MDPI will participate at the 23rd China Water Forum as an exhibitor from 14 to 16 August 2026.
The 23rd China Water Forum will be hosted by Northeast Agricultural University, Heilongjiang Institute of Water Sciences and Harbin Institute of Technology, School of Environment.
The theme of the forum is “High-Quality Adaptation between Water Science and Industry Development”, focusing on research advancements in water science and supporting the development needs of water security, food security, and sustainable industries.
