Meet Us at the 23rd China Water Forum, 14–16 August 2026, Harbin, China


Conference: The 23rd China Water Forum

We are excited to announce that MDPI will participate at the 23rd China Water Forum as an exhibitor from 14 to 16 August 2026.

The 23rd China Water Forum will be hosted by Northeast Agricultural University, Heilongjiang Institute of Water Sciences and Harbin Institute of Technology, School of Environment.

The theme of the forum is “High-Quality Adaptation between Water Science and Industry Development”, focusing on research advancements in water science and supporting the development needs of water security, food security, and sustainable industries. The topics cover, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Hydrological evolution mechanisms and process modelling;
  • Multi-source water utilization and integrated management;
  • Agricultural water and soil resource management and smart regulation;
  • Water–soil–food–ecosystem interactions and climate adaptation;
  • Digital twins and smart water management technologies;
  • Climate change, flood and drought risk assessment and management;
  • River dynamics, water and sediment regulation, and ecological restoration;
  • Urban–rural water security and environmental sustainability;
  • Hydraulic engineering, hydropower development, and smart operation;
  • Human–water relationships and water culture practices;
  • A youth academic forum.
