Life Science, Biophysics
A section of Fractal and Fractional (ISSN 2504-3110).
Section Information
Life Science, Biophysics is a section of the journal Fractal and Fractional that focuses on high-quality research articles related to fractals and fractional calculus and their applications in different fields of life sciences and biophysics. Authors are encouraged to submit original manuscripts that are situated at the interface of quantitative biology, physics and mathematics involving fractals and fractional analyses.
All areas of biology and biophysics dealing with fractional and fractal dynamics are within the scope of this section. These areas include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Cancer and its treatment;
- Cell biology and biophysics;
- Developmental biology;
- Immunology and infectious diseases;
- Molecular biology and biochemistry;
- Nanotherapeutics;
- Neuroscience;
- Physiology;
- Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics.
Authors who feel that their work does not fit into one of these lines are encouraged to think of our section as a venue for submitting their papers because we welcome submissions from all areas in life science that relate to fractal and fractional analyses.
