Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Within surgical oncology, liver surgery represents one of the most important areas in which imaging plays a fundamental role. To date, imaging has been the cornerstone to defining and maintaining the balance between oncological radicality and the need to preserve parenchyma. It offers significant information such as the diagnosis, intra-operative surgical guidance, and the definition of the surgical strategy.
The aim of this Special Issue is to offer a snapshot of the more advanced and promising tools used in the safe and reliable diagnosis and treatment of the liver neoplasms of surgical interest. This issue welcomes studies focusing on radiomics, MRI with liver-specific contrast agents, 3D TC reconstruction, liver volumetry, navigation systems for liver surgery, indocyanine green fluorescence, and intraoperative ultrasound.
