Dear Colleagues,
Sex steroids, including androgens, estrogens, and progestogens, are known to modulate not only a wide range of physiological processes beyond the reproductive system but also the development and progression of various cancers. Sex hormone-associated neoplasms, including breast, ovarian, endometrial, and prostate cancers, continue to represent a major global health burden. In the United States, breast and prostate cancers remain the most frequently diagnosed malignancies in women and men, respectively, while ovarian cancer, though less common, remains one of the most lethal gynecologic malignancies. Despite advances in early detection and targeted therapy with novel agents, hormone-driven cancers exhibit remarkable molecular plasticity, metabolic rewiring, and therapeutic resistance. Tumor evolution often involves the reprogramming of androgen-, estrogen-, or progesterone-mediated signaling pathways, along with alterations in mitochondrial and purine metabolism, immune evasion, and complex tumor–microenvironment interactions.
This Special Issue will highlight recent advances in basic, translational, and across a spectrum of cancers that exhibit endocrine regulation. We welcome original research articles and comprehensive reviews addressing sex hormone signaling and/or receptor biology in any malignancy.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process.
