Carbon Skeleton

This section of C is dedicated to the dissemination of original research papers and reviews related to conjugated molecules with a carbon-rich skeleton, including (not exclusively) polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), acenes, nanographenes, graphdiyne derivatives and graphene nanoribbons. Studies oriented towards the synthesis of these molecules using the tools of synthetic organic chemistry, structure-properties relationship and applications are welcomed. Manuscript submissions are encouraged but not limited to the following areas:

• New synthetic organic methodologies for carbon allotropes
• Carbon-based diradical compounds
• Semiconductors for organic electronics
• Carbon-rich dyes
• Molecules for singlet fission
• Curved aromatic, nanorings and macrocycles
• Fullerenes and carbon nanotube fragments
