As Editor-in-Chief of Applied Sciences, I am pleased to announce the winners of the Applied Sciences Travel Awards in Optics field for 2019.
It has been granted to Dr. Juan Sebastian Totero Gongora, a Helena Normanton Research Fellow in Quantum Technology, University of Sussex, United Kingdom.
It was a difficult decision with such high-quality applications for the award, and we would like to thank all applicants for submitting their diverse and fascinating range of research topics.
