Animal Physiology

The subsection Animal Physiology presents original research on all kind of animals and its protection of health within physiological borders. This includes basic knowledge of physiological patterns, new diagnostic tools, new treatments, animal husbandry, as well as animal protection. Scientifically excellent papers that consider this wide spectum of scientific research in the context of genetic or environmental conservation, or rural development, or that have significant implications for animal welfare, will be particularly welcome, and an interdisciplinary approach is encouraged.
