Artificial Intelligence in Financial Technology: Advances in Algorithmic Trading, Risk Management, and Computational Finance
Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The rapid integration of artificial intelligence into financial technology (FinTech) is fundamentally transforming how financial markets operate, how risk is assessed, and how investment decisions are made. This Special Issue invites original research contributions at the intersection of AI and FinTech, covering topics including but not limited to: deep learning and reinforcement learning for algorithmic trading and portfolio optimisation; natural language processing and sentiment analysis for financial prediction; AI-driven risk modelling, fraud detection, and credit default prediction; synthetic data generation for financial applications; graph-based and multi-task learning frameworks for stock selection; AI applications in derivative markets including options, futures, and CFDs; and explainable AI for regulatory compliance in financial systems. We welcome full research articles, reviews, and communications that present novel algorithms, empirical evaluations, and real-world deployments of AI-based financial models. Submissions should demonstrate rigorous methodology, reproducibility, and clear relevance to financial practice. This issue aims to bridge the gap between academic AI research and industry-level FinTech applications, providing a platform for researchers and practitioners to share cutting-edge advances in this rapidly evolving domain.
