2020	The inaugural issue was released. AI was published as a quarterly journal.
2023	AI was indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)—Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1). AI was indexed in Scopus (Elsevier), starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1).
2024	AI received its first Impact Factor (2023) of 3.1. AI received its first CiteScore (2023) of 7.2.
2025	AI adopted a monthly publication schedule.
