Travel Award

Dear Colleagues,

As the Editor-in-Chief of Agronomy, I am pleased to announce the two awardees for the 2017 Agronomy Junior Investigator Travel Awards.

Dr. Pedro Diaz Vivancos, associate researcher from the University of Murcia, Spain, carries out research to better understand the “Abiotic Stress Protection by Cytosolic Antioxidant Machinery in Plum Plants”.

Dr. Huihui Zhang, research physical scientist, water management and systems research unit, USDA-ARS, Fort Collins, CO, USA, estimates “crop water use/evapotranspiration by using remotely-sensed information from ground, airborne, and/or satellite sensors”.
