ESEB congresses are renowned for being among the largest in the field of evolutionary biology, attracting 1400–1700 participants from around the globe. The ESEB congress will cover empirical, computational, and theoretical work across the broad field of evolutionary biology, including, among other areas, the following ones: molecular evolution, evolutionary genetics and genomics, population genetics and genomics, phylogenetics, comparative genomics, phylogenomics, systematics, paleontology, paleoecology, models and methods in evolution, life histories, evolutionary ecology, evolution and development, micro- and macro-evolution studies, origin and early evolution of life, organismal evolution, origin and evolution of relevant traits and clades, evolutionary medicine, microbial evolution, coevolution, and reticulated evolution.
