Cover Story: OptimSolution is an open source, cross-platform framework for benchmarking and analysing continuous optimisation methods, usable via a Qt GUI or a CLI on Windows, Linux, and macOS. It offers execution modes for Single runs, Batch experiments, and Method and Problem Sensitivity Analysis, together with complexity analysis across problem dimensions and method portfolios. Built-in Wilcoxon signed rank and Friedman tests, rank tables, and box plots provide publication-ready statistical validation without external tools. A GUI wizard lets researchers register new methods and problems without touching the core code, supporting rapid, reproducible experimentation in metaheuristic optimisation research. View this paper
