Cover Story: The entropy of a spherical source producing Unruh radiation is calculated for a finite exponential energy spectrum. The approach utilizes the von Neumann entropy of the outer Rindler modes and is based on information theory methods. Spherical symmetry of the system implies independent contribution of an angular momentum operator and its projection. Estimates are generalized for arbitrary multiplicities, thus allowing us to analyze both bosons and fermions. Emission spectra are assumed to be homogeneous with respect to any other intrinsic degrees of freedom of the emitted quanta. The results are represented in an analytical form. View this paper
