The More Than Just Milk Lactation Science Symposium was organized by the Geddes Hartmann Human Lactation Research Group, School of Molecular Sciences, The University of Western Australia. It has featured international and national keynote and student speakers and has provided an interactive platform for showcasing integrative mother/infant-centered research and an opportunity for researchers, students, clinicians, and the community to extend their knowledge and gain greater understanding of advanced research in the field of human lactation. Topics included breastfeeding experiences, milk composition and production, human milk and COVID-19, human milk and food allergens, and the impact of human milk on infant growth and development.
