I see them when they’re looking at each other in class sometimes. It’s their way of saying stuff without saying it. They’ll look up at each other and start laughing or shaking their heads about something. It’s sort of like when something happens, and you don’t want other people around you to know about it, so you play it off or try and keep it between you and the other person who you’re talking to or who saw it too.(p. 220)
