Peer review is an essential part in the publication process, and ensures that Languages maintains high quality standards for its published papers.
Since its inception in 2015, Languages has been following a single-blind review, where authors’ identities were made known to reviewers.
The Editors-in-Chief of the journal, along with the Editorial Office, would like to announce that a double-blind review will be applied as of 1 April 2018. With the introduction of this change, we aim to guarantee a more thorough editorial process, as well as to align Languages with the majority of the journals in the field of linguistics. Detailed information can be found at http://www.mdpi.com/journal/languages/instructions#editorial_procedure.
