The journal retracts the article titled “Unraveling Spatial Nonstationary and Nonlinear Dynamics in Life Satisfaction: Integrating Geospatial Analysis of Community Built Environment and Resident Perception via MGWR, GBDT, and XGBoost” [1], cited above.
Following publication, the authors raised concerns to the attention of the Editorial Office regarding the dataset and analysis in their paper [1].
In accordance with standard journal procedures, the Editorial Office and Editorial Board conducted an investigation, with input from the authors’ institution, that confirmed structural errors in the dataset, sample organization, and analysis that affect the interpretation of the results. As these issues cannot be adequately addressed through a correction without impacting the validity of the conclusions, the authors and the Editorial Board have agreed to retract this paper in accordance with MDPI’s retraction policy.
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of ISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information.
The authors agree with this decision.
