Cover Story: Scanning precession diffraction offers the possibility to record orientation maps within the transmission electron microscope, with spatial resolution of a few nanometers. Here we present an application to an aggregate of wadsleyite and ringwoodite (two high-pressure polymorphs of olivine present in the mantle transition zone) which allows to address the relative rheological behaviour of those two phases when deformed at high-pressure and high-temperature.
